Composition

Each unit contains Ceftriaxone 500 mg with appropriate sterile solvent for reconstitution.

Description

Xonetech 500 is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat mild to moderate bacterial infections. It is effective against respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections and certain systemic infections. It is administered intramuscularly or intravenously under medical guidance.

Precautions

Do not use in patients allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Avoid mixing with calcium-containing solutions in neonates. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Adverse Effects

Possible reactions include injection site pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rash, or headache. Rare effects include hypersensitivity reactions, changes in blood counts or elevated liver enzymes.

Store below 25°C, protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep in original packaging and out of reach of children.
