Composition

Each vial contains Cefuroxime 1500 mg with a separate sterile Water for Injection.

Description

Frupro 1.5 is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for treating moderate to severe bacterial infections. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections and abdominal infections. It is administered intravenously or intramuscularly under medical supervision.

Precautions

Avoid use in patients allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Dose adjustment may be required in renal impairment. Use cautiously in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Monitor for hypersensitivity reactions during treatment.

Adverse Effects

Possible reactions include injection site pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rash or dizziness. Rare effects may include allergic reactions, blood count changes or liver enzyme elevation.

Storage

Store below 25°C, protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the vial in original packaging and out of reach of children.
