Ceriz - L Mont Suspension (Levocetirizine 2.5 mg + Montelukast 4 mg)

Composition:

Each 5 ml of suspension contains:

Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 2.5 mg,Montelukast Sodium 4 mg,Flavoured syrup base: q.s.

Description:

Ceriz-L Mont Suspension is a dual-action anti-allergic formulation combining Levocetirizine, a potent H₁-antihistamine, and Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist.
This combination provides effective symptom control in allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergies, and asthma-related allergic symptoms, especially in pediatric patients.
Levocetirizine relieves sneezing, itching, nasal congestion, and watery eyes, while Montelukast reduces airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction caused by leukotrienes.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only, to be taken as directed by a physician.

Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment or renal dysfunction.

Not recommended for children below 2 years unless prescribed.

Avoid alcohol, sedatives, or other central nervous system depressants.

May cause mild drowsiness or dizziness; supervise activities requiring alertness.

Use during pregnancy or lactation only if clearly indicated by the doctor.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, abdominal pain, fatigue, dry mouth, and drowsiness.

Occasional: Nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, or upper respiratory infection.
