What is it used for?
This medicine is used to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation, especially in muscle, joint and soft-tissue conditions, sprains, injuries and arthritis. It may also be prescribed for short-term pain after certain procedures.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation. Trypsin, bromelain and rutoside may help reduce inflammation and swelling.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed. Swallow the enteric-coated tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Taking it with or after food may help reduce stomach irritation. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache or dizziness may occur.

Precautions
Avoid this medicine if there is an allergy to diclofenac, aspirin or other painkillers, or a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding unless specifically advised. Inform the doctor about heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, asthma, bleeding disorders, or use of blood thinners. Do not combine it with other diclofenac-containing or NSAID painkillers without medical advice. Avoid during pregnancy, especially the last three months, unless prescribed. Seek urgent help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling or a serious skin rash.
