Composition:
Each enteric-coated tablet contains:

Chymotrypsin–Trypsin (enzymes) 100,000 Armour Units

Description:
Chymotas Forte Tablet is a proteolytic enzyme preparation containing a combination of Chymotrypsin and Trypsin. These enzymes help break down proteins at the site of inflammation, thereby reducing swelling, pain, and edema.
It is commonly used for the management of inflammation and swelling associated with trauma, surgery, injuries, burns, abscesses, and postoperative recovery. It may also promote faster tissue healing and reduce bruising.

Warnings and Precautions:

Take the tablet on an empty stomach or as directed by the physician.

Avoid use in patients with bleeding disorders, severe liver disease, or known hypersensitivity to enzyme preparations.

Use with caution in patients on anticoagulants or antiplatelet therapy (may increase bleeding risk).

Discontinue and consult your doctor if allergic reactions or gastrointestinal upset occur.

Adverse Effects:
Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, or mild allergic reactions such as rash or itching.
Rarely, increased bleeding tendency may occur.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
