Description:

Cilnineo 20 is a calcium channel blocker formulation containing Cilnidipine, a dihydropyridine derivative that inhibits both L-type and N-type calcium channels. This dual blockade results in vasodilation, reduction of peripheral vascular resistance, and effective control of blood pressure with a lower risk of reflex tachycardia.
It is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension and helps improve arterial compliance and vascular protection, with added benefit in hypertensive patients with renal or metabolic disorders.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral administration only, to be taken under medical supervision.

Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment, heart failure, or hypotension.

Do not discontinue abruptly; taper gradually under physician guidance.

Avoid concomitant use with other antihypertensive drugs unless prescribed.

Caution advised during pregnancy and lactation; use only if clearly indicated.

May cause dizziness or fatigue; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until effects are known.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, dizziness, facial flushing, ankle edema, and mild tiredness.

Occasional: Palpitations, nausea, or gastrointestinal discomfort.

Rare: Marked hypotension or hypersensitivity reactions.
