What is it used for?
This medicine is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Controlling blood pressure helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and other complications.

How does it work?
Cilnidipine relaxes and widens blood vessels, while nebivolol slows the heart rate and reduces the heart’s workload. Together, they help lower blood pressure.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, preferably at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow it with water and do not stop it suddenly without medical advice. Do not take an extra dose if one is missed; follow the prescriber’s instructions.

Common side effects
Dizziness, headache, tiredness, low blood pressure, slow heartbeat, ankle swelling, nausea or constipation may occur.

Precautions
Use only under medical supervision. Tell the doctor about asthma or breathing problems, a slow heartbeat, heart block, heart failure, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, or circulation problems. It may mask some warning signs of low blood sugar. Avoid driving if dizzy, and inform the doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding or other medicines being used.
