What is it used for?
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of complications such as heart attack and stroke.

How does it work?
Cilnidipine relaxes and widens blood vessels, while telmisartan blocks the action of a hormone that causes blood vessels to tighten. Together, they help blood flow more easily and lower blood pressure.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor, preferably at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet with water and do not stop taking it without medical advice. If a dose is missed, follow the doctor’s or pharmacist’s advice.

Common side effects
Dizziness, headache, flushing, ankle or leg swelling, weakness, and low blood pressure may occur. Contact a doctor if side effects are severe or persistent.

Precautions
Use only under medical supervision if pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Tell the doctor about kidney or liver disease, dehydration, low blood pressure, or high potassium levels.
