Each mL contains:

Ciprofloxacin 0.3% w/v, Dexamethasone 0.1% w/v

Excipients: Sodium acetate, Acetic acid, Disodium edetate, Mannitol, Purified water q.s.

Description:

Ciprokem D Eye/Ear Drops is a sterile ophthalmic and otic suspension containing Ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibacterial, and Dexamethasone, a potent corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and antiallergic action.
It is indicated for bacterial infections and inflammatory conditions of the eye or ear, such as infected conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis, otitis externa, and postoperative ocular or aural inflammation caused by susceptible organisms.

Warnings and Precautions:

For topical ophthalmic or otic use only — not for injection or oral use.

Avoid contamination: do not touch the dropper tip to eye, ear, or any surface.

Discontinue if hypersensitivity, itching, or swelling occurs.

Prolonged use of corticosteroid component may cause raised intraocular pressure, glaucoma, or delayed wound healing.

Use with caution in patients with viral, fungal, or mycobacterial infections of the eye or ear — contraindicated if such infections are suspected.

Remove contact lenses before applying to the eye; do not wear during treatment.

Temporary blurred vision or discomfort may occur after use. Avoid driving until vision clears.

Use in pregnancy and lactation only if prescribed by a physician.

Adverse Effects:

Transient burning, stinging, or irritation on instillation/application.

Itching, redness, watery eyes or ear discomfort.

Prolonged use may cause secondary infection, ocular hypertension, or delayed healing.

Rarely: allergic reactions, swelling of eyelids, or skin rash.

Storage:

Store below 25 °C in a cool, dry place, protected from light.

Do not freeze.

Keep container tightly closed.

Discard after 4 weeks of opening or as directed on the label.

Keep out of reach of children.
