Description:
Ciprokem Eye Drops is a sterile ophthalmic antibacterial solution containing Ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, thereby blocking bacterial DNA replication and transcription.
Indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other superficial ocular infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Warnings and Precautions:
For topical ophthalmic use only. Do not inject or swallow.
Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye, to prevent contamination.
Remove contact lenses before instillation; lenses may be reinserted after consulting your doctor.
Discontinue use and consult a physician if irritation, swelling, rash, or hypersensitivity occurs.
Prolonged use may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms, including fungi.
Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation—avoid driving or operating machinery until vision clears.
Use in pregnancy and lactation only if clearly indicated by a physician.
Adverse Effects:
Mild, transient burning or stinging on instillation.
Watery eyes, itching, redness, or blurred vision may occur.
Less common: eyelid irritation, photophobia, or foreign body sensation.
Rare: hypersensitivity reactions (rash, facial swelling, pruritus).
Discontinue if severe reaction or worsening infection develops.

Store below 25 °C in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
Do not freeze.
Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
