Composition:
Each gram of gel contains:

Clindamycin Phosphate equivalent to Clindamycin 1% w/w

Description:
Clincitop Gel contains Clindamycin, a lincosamide antibiotic with potent activity against Propionibacterium acnes, the primary bacterium responsible for acne.
It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby reducing acne lesions, inflammation, and skin irritation.
The gel base ensures targeted topical delivery with minimal systemic absorption.

It is primarily used in the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris.

Warnings and Precautions:

For external use only.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Do not apply on broken or eczematous skin.

Discontinue use if excessive dryness, irritation, or allergic reaction occurs.

Prolonged use may lead to antibiotic resistance or secondary fungal infection.

Use during pregnancy or lactation only if prescribed by a physician.

Adverse Effects:

Mild skin dryness, peeling, redness, or burning sensation

Itching or irritation at the application site

Rare: Diarrhea or colitis (with prolonged or extensive application)
