Clindamycin Phosphate IP 1% w/w,Nicotinamide IP 4% w/w,Gel base q.s.
Description:
Clindakem Acne Gel is a topical combination therapy used in the management of acne vulgaris. It combines an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory vitamin derivative to target multiple causes of acne.
Warnings and Precautions:
For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, mucous membranes, or broken skin.
Apply a thin layer on clean, dry skin once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician.
Discontinue use if excessive dryness, irritation, or redness occurs.
Avoid concurrent use with other topical acne medications (especially peeling or drying agents) unless advised.
Use with caution in patients with a history of regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis.
Safe use in pregnancy and lactation should be based on medical advice.
Adverse Effects:
Common: Mild dryness, burning, peeling, or itching at the application site.
Occasional: Skin irritation, erythema, or oiliness.
Rare: Diarrhea or colitis due to systemic absorption of clindamycin.
Storage:
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
