Composition:

Clindamycin 600 mg per 4 mL

Description:

CLINDAPRO Injection contains Clindamycin, a lincosamide antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacterial growth. It is commonly used in infections of the skin, respiratory tract, bones, joints, and other severe bacterial infections.

Precautions:

CLINDAPRO should be administered under medical supervision. Caution is advised in patients with gastrointestinal disorders, liver or kidney impairment, or known allergy to lincosamide antibiotics. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by a doctor. Patients should inform their physician about other ongoing medications to avoid drug interactions.

Adverse Effects:

Mild gastrointestinal issues such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort may occur. Rare allergic reactions, including rash, itching, or anaphylaxis, are possible. Prolonged use may lead to antibiotic-associated colitis caused by Clostridium difficile.

Storage:

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
