Description

Clobesalic Lotion is a combination of a high-potency corticosteroid (Clobetasol) and a keratolytic agent (Salicylic Acid).
It is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, lichen planus, and chronic dermatitis.
Clobetasol reduces redness, itching, and inflammation, while Salicylic Acid helps remove scales and enhances penetration of the steroid.

Precautions

For external use only.
Avoid applying on broken skin, open wounds, or near eyes and mouth.
Use only for the duration prescribed; prolonged use may cause skin thinning.
Do not cover with airtight dressings unless directed by a physician.
Use cautiously in children, as they absorb topical steroids more easily.
Avoid use in infections unless combined with antimicrobial therapy.
Do not apply on the face, groin, or underarms unless specifically advised.

Adverse Effects

Burning or stinging sensation.
Redness or dryness of skin.
Skin thinning with prolonged use.
Stretch marks (rare).
Folliculitis or acne-like eruptions.
Allergic reactions are uncommon but may occur.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
Protect from light and moisture.
Keep out of reach of children.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
