What is it used for?
Used on the skin for inflamed, itchy and thick, scaly skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis, when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Clobetasol reduces skin inflammation, redness and itching. Salicylic acid softens and helps remove thick scales, allowing the medicine to work better.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as prescribed. Wash hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Do not cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Burning, stinging, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or excessive use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Do not use on the face, groin, underarms, broken skin or infected skin unless specifically advised. Avoid prolonged or extensive use, especially in children. Seek medical advice if the condition worsens, shows signs of infection, or does not improve. Stop use and seek urgent help for severe swelling, rash or breathing difficulty.
