Clotider B Cream (30X15Gm) Clotrimazole 1%,Beclomethasone 0.025%, Neomycin 0.5% by Elder

What is it used for?
This skin cream is used for certain fungal skin infections that are accompanied by inflammation and may have a secondary bacterial infection. It should be used only when recommended by a doctor, as steroid-containing creams are not suitable for every rash.

How does it work?
Clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi, while neomycin acts against certain bacteria. Beclomethasone reduces redness, swelling and itching caused by inflammation.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as directed by the doctor. Wash and dry the area before use and wash hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid the eyes and do not cover the area tightly unless advised. Do not use for longer than recommended.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, redness or irritation may occur. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning or other skin changes, and neomycin may cause an allergic rash.

Precautions
Do not use on the face, near the eyes, on broken skin, or on children unless specifically advised by a doctor. Avoid prolonged or repeated use, especially on skin folds or under dressings. Stop use and seek medical advice if the rash worsens, severe irritation develops, or there is no improvement. Do not use for untreated viral skin infections such as herpes or chickenpox unless directed by a doctor.
