What is it used for?
Clotrimazole 1% is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch and fungal rashes caused by Candida.

How does it work?
It damages the protective outer layer of fungi, helping stop their growth and clear the infection.

How to take/use it
Use on clean, dry affected skin as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes and mouth.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, redness, irritation or discomfort at the application site.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to clotrimazole. Stop using it and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or an allergic reaction occurs. Seek medical advice if the infection does not improve, becomes worse or keeps returning. Avoid applying it to broken skin or near the eyes unless advised by a healthcare professional.
