What is it used for?
This combination is used for temporary relief of cough, blocked or runny nose, sneezing and related cold symptoms.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan helps suppress the cough reflex. Phenylephrine helps reduce nasal congestion, while chlorpheniramine helps relieve sneezing and a runny nose.

How to take/use it
Take or use only as directed on the package or by a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended amount, and avoid using it with other cough-and-cold products containing similar ingredients.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, headache, nervousness, or palpitations may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and driving if drowsy or dizzy. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, overactive thyroid, prostate enlargement, or difficulty passing urine. Do not use with MAO inhibitor medicines, and check with a doctor before use with antidepressants. Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or before giving it to children.
