Description

Dapaking-M 10/1000 XR Tablet is a dual oral antidiabetic therapy formulated for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). It provides complementary mechanisms for effective glycemic control:

Dapagliflozin: A SGLT2 inhibitor that promotes urinary glucose excretion by inhibiting renal glucose reabsorption, leading to lower blood glucose, weight loss, and blood pressure reduction.

Metformin XR: A biguanide that decreases hepatic glucose production and enhances peripheral glucose utilization, with an extended-release design for improved gastrointestinal tolerance and sustained glucose control.

This once-daily formulation supports patient compliance and stable glycemic regulation.

Warnings and Precautions

Lactic Acidosis: Risk associated with Metformin; avoid in renal impairment, dehydration, or hypoxia.

Genital and Urinary Tract Infections: May occur with Dapagliflozin; maintain hygiene.

Volume Depletion: Ensure adequate hydration; monitor renal function.

Euglycemic Ketoacidosis: Rare; discontinue if symptoms appear.
