What is it used for?
Used as an antiseptic oral rinse to help reduce plaque and bacteria, support the treatment of gingivitis (gum inflammation), and help maintain oral hygiene. The fluoride may also help protect teeth against decay.

How does it work?
Chlorhexidine and triclosan reduce harmful bacteria in the mouth. Sodium fluoride helps strengthen tooth enamel and protect against dental decay.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed on the product label or by a dentist. Rinse around the mouth and spit out; do not swallow. Do not dilute unless instructed. Keep the rinse away from the eyes.

Common side effects
Temporary staining of the teeth or tongue, altered taste, mouth irritation, dryness, or a mild burning sensation may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to chlorhexidine or any ingredient. Do not swallow. Stop using it and seek medical help if swelling, rash, breathing difficulty, or other signs of a serious allergic reaction occur. Prolonged use may cause tooth staining or taste changes; follow the dentist’s recommended duration. Keep out of reach of children.
