Composition

Each 5 ml contains:
Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg

Description

Deriphyllin Junior Syrup is an antitussive and anti-allergic formulation for children.
It provides relief from dry, irritating cough along with symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and throat irritation.

Precautions

Use only as directed by a pediatrician.
Avoid in children with severe hypertension, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, or glaucoma.
May cause mild drowsiness; monitor the child after dosing.
Avoid combining with other cough/cold medicines unless advised.
Not recommended in children below the approved age on the pack.
Use cautiously in children with chronic respiratory problems unless prescribed.

Adverse Effects

Drowsiness or mild dizziness.
Dry mouth or throat.
Nausea or vomiting.
Restlessness or irritability in some children.
Rare allergic reactions such as rash or swelling.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
Protect from light and moisture.
Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children.
Do not use if the bottle seal is broken.
