What is it used for?
This medicine is used for short-term relief of pain and inflammation, such as muscle, joint, back, dental or other mild-to-moderate painful conditions.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces substances that cause pain, swelling and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever through a different action.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed, preferably with or after food, and swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not take it together with other paracetamol-containing medicines or painkillers such as ibuprofen or diclofenac unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Indigestion, acidity or stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness and headache.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or blood-thinning medicine use. Avoid excessive alcohol. Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy, and seek medical advice before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop and seek urgent help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe allergic reactions, chest pain or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
