Description

Diclokem P Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of Diclofenac Sodium (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, NSAID) and Paracetamol (an analgesic and antipyretic).
The combination provides enhanced pain relief, anti-inflammatory action, and reduction of fever by acting through complementary mechanisms — inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis at both central and peripheral levels.

Warnings and Precautions

Hepatotoxicity risk: Avoid concurrent use of multiple paracetamol-containing drugs.

Gastrointestinal risk: Long-term use may cause ulceration or bleeding.

Use with caution in patients with liver, kidney, or heart disease.

Avoid alcohol to minimize risk of liver toxicity.

Discontinue if rash, breathing difficulty, or allergic reactions occur.

Adverse Effects

Common: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, gastritis, heartburn, dizziness.
Serious (rare): Hepatic dysfunction, GI bleeding, peptic ulcer, skin reactions, renal impairment.
