What is it used for?
Dydrogesterone is a progesterone-like medicine used to treat conditions caused by low progesterone, such as irregular or painful periods, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding and absence of periods. It may also be prescribed to support fertility treatment or certain pregnancy-related progesterone deficiencies, as decided by a doctor.

How does it work?

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, as the dose and schedule depend on the condition being treated. Swallow the tablet with water and try to take it at the same time each day. Do not stop treatment or change the schedule without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache or migraine, nausea, stomach discomfort, breast tenderness, mood changes and changes in menstrual bleeding or spotting may occur.
