Composition:
The cream contains ketoconazole 2% w/w, iodochlorhydroxyquinoline 1% w/w, tolnaftate 1% w/w, gentamicin 0.10% w/w and clobetasole propionate 0.05% w/w.

Description:
Dikart 5 Cream is a broad-spectrum dermatological formulation used for mixed fungal, bacterial and inflammatory skin conditions. Ketoconazole and tolnaftate act against dermatophytes and yeast infections, iodochlorhydroxyquinoline enhances antifungal and antibacterial action, gentamicin treats secondary bacterial infections and clobetasole propionate provides relief from redness, swelling and itching. It is commonly used in conditions like infected fungal dermatitis, eczema with superadded infection and stubborn inflammatory skin disorders.

Precautions:
Use only externally and avoid applying on broken skin, open wounds or near the eyes and mouth. Prolonged use of clobetasole should be avoided without medical advice. Do not cover the area with occlusive dressings unless prescribed. Discontinue use if irritation or worsening of the condition occurs. Not recommended for use on the face or in children unless advised by a physician.

Adverse Effects:
Possible side effects include mild burning, irritation, dryness, redness or itching at the site of application. Prolonged use may cause skin thinning, discoloration or increased susceptibility to infections due to the steroid component.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
