Composition:

Description:
Dikart 5 Lotion is a combination topical preparation formulated to treat mixed fungal, bacterial and inflammatory skin infections. Ketoconazole and tolnaftate provide antifungal action against dermatophytes and yeast infections, iodochlorhydroxyquinoline offers broad-spectrum antimicrobial support, neomycin helps control secondary bacterial infections and clobetasole propionate reduces inflammation, redness and itching. It is commonly used for infected fungal dermatitis, eczema with secondary infection and difficult-to-treat inflammatory skin conditions.
Precautions:
Use externally only and avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes. Do not apply on broken or severely damaged skin. Avoid prolonged use due to the presence of a high-potency corticosteroid. Do not use under occlusive dressings unless advised. Stop use if irritation, burning or worsening of symptoms occurs. Use in children or on sensitive areas such as the face should be done only under medical supervision.
Adverse Effects:
Mild irritation, dryness, redness or burning may occur at the application site. Extended use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, discoloration or increased risk of secondary infections due to the steroid component.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
