Dipsid Cream (Fusidic Acid Cream)

Composition:
The cream contains fusidic acid, a topical antibiotic effective against gram-positive bacteria, especially Staphylococcus species.

Description:
Dipsid Cream is an antibiotic topical formulation used for treating bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected dermatitis, folliculitis and minor wound infections. Fusidic acid works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, helping reduce inflammation, redness and progression of infection while promoting faster healing.

Precautions:
Use the cream only on affected skin and avoid contact with eyes, mouth or mucosal areas. Do not apply on large areas or use for prolonged periods unless prescribed. Discontinue use if irritation, allergy or worsening of symptoms occurs. Avoid using other topical antibiotics or steroids simultaneously without medical guidance to prevent resistance or interactions.

Adverse Effects:
Possible effects include mild burning, itching, redness or dryness at the application site. Rarely, allergic reactions or worsening of dermatitis may occur with prolonged or inappropriate use.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
