Domperidone Maleate equivalent to Domperidone 10 mg, Naproxen 500 mg

Description

Domynap 500 is a combination analgesic containing Naproxen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and Domperidone, an anti-emetic.
It helps relieve pain, inflammation, and associated nausea/vomiting, commonly used in migraine, dysmenorrhea, musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and other acute painful conditions.

Precautions

Avoid in patients with peptic ulcers, GI bleeding, or severe acidity.

Not recommended in severe liver, kidney, or heart failure.

Use with caution in hypertension, asthma, or fluid retention.

Domperidone should be avoided in patients with cardiac arrhythmias or those taking drugs that prolong QT interval.

Avoid alcohol while taking the medication.

Not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed.

Avoid taking other NSAIDs simultaneously.

Adverse Effects

Nausea, vomiting, dry mouth

Stomach pain, acidity, indigestion

Headache, dizziness

Gas, bloating

Rarely: GI bleeding, renal impairment, or allergic reactions

Domperidone may rarely cause palpitations or QT prolongation
