Composition:

Dopamine 200 mg per 5 mL

Description:

DOPATECH Injection contains Dopamine, a sympathomimetic agent used to treat conditions such as shock, low blood pressure, and heart failure. It works by stimulating adrenergic receptors to improve cardiac output, increase blood pressure, and enhance renal perfusion, depending on the dose administered.

Precautions:

DOPATECH should be administered under strict medical supervision with continuous monitoring of blood pressure and cardiac function. Caution is advised in patients with arrhythmias, heart disease, or hypertension. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by a physician. Patients should inform their doctor of all other medications to avoid potential interactions.

Adverse Effects:

Possible side effects include tachycardia, palpitations, increased blood pressure, arrhythmias, headache, nausea, or local irritation at the injection site. Severe reactions such as cardiac ischemia are rare but may occur.
