What is it used for?
This medicine is used to help prevent and relieve nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It also provides folic acid, which supports normal cell growth and fetal development.

How does it work?
Doxylamine is an antihistamine that helps reduce nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) helps support processes involved in controlling pregnancy-related nausea, while folic acid provides nutritional support during pregnancy.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed by the doctor. Follow the instructions on the label and do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice. Do not take additional doxylamine, vitamin B6 or folic acid products unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation may occur.

Precautions
This medicine may cause sleepiness or reduced alertness. Avoid driving, alcohol and other medicines that cause drowsiness until its effects are known. Tell the doctor about other medicines being taken, especially sleeping tablets, sedatives or other antihistamines. Seek medical advice if vomiting is severe or fluids cannot be kept down.
