Each hard gelatin capsule contains:

Doxycycline Hydrochloride equivalent to Doxycycline 100 mg

Description:
Doxycycline Capsule is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the tetracycline class. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth. It is used to treat various infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, skin infections, and certain types of malaria.

Warnings and Precautions:

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.

Avoid use in children below 8 years and during pregnancy or lactation as it may cause tooth discoloration and affect bone growth.

Take the capsule with plenty of water to avoid irritation of the esophagus.

Avoid taking with milk, antacids, or iron supplements as they reduce absorption.

Use sunscreen or protective clothing, as Doxycycline may cause photosensitivity (increased sensitivity to sunlight).

Adverse Effects:
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, photosensitivity, and, rarely, allergic skin reactions or liver enzyme elevation.

Storage:
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture.
Keep out of reach of children.
