What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain and inflammation, especially muscle, joint and arthritis-related pain.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever through a different action.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Swallow with water, preferably with or after food. Do not take it with other medicines containing diclofenac, paracetamol or other NSAIDs unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, diarrhoea, dizziness and headache.

Precautions
Avoid or seek medical advice before use if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, allergy to painkillers or NSAIDs, asthma triggered by painkillers, or liver, kidney or heart disease. Avoid excess alcohol. Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless specifically prescribed. Seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe skin rash, breathing difficulty or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
