What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of dry cough, blocked nose, runny nose and sneezing associated with common cold or allergy symptoms.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan helps suppress the cough reflex. Phenylephrine reduces nasal swelling, while chlorpheniramine (CPM) helps relieve histamine-related symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed on the product label or by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not take more than the recommended amount, and check other cold or cough medicines to avoid duplicate ingredients.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, headache, nervousness, increased blood pressure or a fast heartbeat.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery if affected. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, prostate or urination problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use with MAO inhibitors, and check with a doctor or pharmacist before combining with antidepressants or other medicines that affect serotonin.
