Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:

Bisacodyl IP 5 mg

Description:
Ducodyl Tablet contains Bisacodyl, a stimulant laxative used for the short-term relief of constipation.
It works by stimulating intestinal peristalsis and increasing the water content in the bowel, promoting bowel movements. It is also used for bowel preparation before diagnostic procedures or surgery.

Warnings and Precautions:

Take orally with water, preferably at bedtime for morning relief.

Avoid use in patients with intestinal obstruction, acute abdominal pain, appendicitis, or inflammatory bowel disease.

Use cautiously in elderly or debilitated patients.

Prolonged or excessive use may cause electrolyte imbalance or dependency.

Consult a doctor if constipation persists for more than 7 days or if accompanied by severe abdominal pain.

Adverse Effects:
Abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhea, or mild dizziness. Rarely, electrolyte disturbances may occur with prolonged use.

Storage:
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and light.
Keep out of reach of children.
