Elbiol Lotion (100Ml) Gamma Benzene Hexachloride 0.1%, Cetrimide 0.1% by Elder

What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat scabies, an itchy skin infestation caused by mites. It may also be used for certain lice infestations when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Gamma benzene hexachloride (lindane) kills mites and lice. Cetrimide is an antiseptic that helps reduce germs on the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist, and do not use more often or for longer than advised. Avoid the eyes, mouth, inside of the nose and other sensitive areas. Wash hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated.

Common side effects
Skin irritation, burning, redness, dryness or increased itching may occur. Stop use and seek medical help if severe irritation, dizziness, unusual drowsiness, muscle twitching or seizures occur.

Precautions
Do not use on broken, inflamed or extensively irritated skin unless advised by a doctor. Use only under medical advice in children, older adults, pregnancy, breastfeeding or people with a history of seizures. Avoid repeated or excessive use, as lindane can be toxic. Keep away from children and do not swallow.
