What is it used for?
Used to prevent or treat iron and folic acid deficiency and support the production of healthy red blood cells. It also provides zinc, which supports normal body functions and immune health.

How does it work?
Iron helps the body make haemoglobin, which carries oxygen in the blood. Folic acid supports red blood cell formation, while zinc helps support several enzymes and normal immune function.

How to take/use it
Take it only as directed by a doctor or as stated on the product label. Swallow with water. If it causes stomach upset, taking it with food may help. Do not take more than the recommended amount.

Common side effects
Nausea, stomach discomfort, constipation or diarrhoea, metallic taste, and dark-coloured stools may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is iron overload, a blood disorder, or an allergy to any ingredient. Iron supplements may interact with antacids, calcium supplements, thyroid medicines and some antibiotics; medical advice may be needed about separating doses. Keep out of reach of children, as an overdose of iron can be dangerous.
