What is it used for?
This cream is prescribed for certain mixed bacterial and fungal skin infections that may also have redness, swelling or itching. It should be used only for the skin condition diagnosed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Ciprofloxacin and metronidazole help control susceptible bacteria, while terbinafine acts against fungi. Clobetasol reduces inflammation, redness and itching.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply it exactly as prescribed to clean, dry skin. Do not use more often or for longer than directed. Wash hands before and after application, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, redness or irritation at the application site may occur. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Use only on medical advice, as clobetasol is a strong steroid and may worsen or mask some infections. Avoid the face, groin, skin folds, broken skin and covered areas unless specifically directed. Do not use for acne or viral skin infections unless prescribed. Seek medical advice if the condition worsens, spreads or does not improve. Inform a healthcare professional if pregnant or breastfeeding.
