Elcipro Tz Tabs (500/600 Mg) (10X10) Ciprofloxacin 500 Mg & Tinidazole 600 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Used on prescription to treat certain bacterial and protozoal infections, especially gastrointestinal infections that may cause infectious diarrhoea or dysentery.

How does it work?
Ciprofloxacin kills susceptible bacteria, while tinidazole acts against certain parasites and anaerobic bacteria. Together, they help control infections caused by these organisms.

How to take/use it
Take only in the dose and for the duration prescribed. Swallow with water and complete the course, even if symptoms improve. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for 3 days after the last dose. Keep antacids and mineral supplements containing iron, calcium, magnesium or zinc separate as advised by a doctor or pharmacist.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, and a metallic or unpleasant taste.

Precautions
Use only under medical advice. Seek medical help for tendon pain or swelling, numbness or tingling, severe weakness, confusion, seizures, or severe or persistent diarrhoea. Tell the doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney problems, seizure disorders, tendon problems, or medicines being taken. Avoid driving if dizziness or other nervous-system effects occur.
