What is it used for?
This combination is used in oral care products to help relieve tooth sensitivity and support protection against tooth decay and plaque buildup.

How does it work?
Potassium nitrate helps reduce the sensitivity of nerves in the teeth. Sodium monofluorophosphate strengthens tooth enamel and helps prevent cavities, while triclosan helps reduce plaque-forming bacteria.

How to take/use it
Use it for brushing only, following the directions on the product label or as advised by a dentist. Spit out after brushing and do not swallow. Do not use more often than directed.

Common side effects
Some people may experience mild mouth irritation, burning, or changes in taste. Stop using it if significant irritation or an allergic reaction occurs.
