What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux (GERD). The domperidone component may also help with nausea, vomiting and uncomfortable fullness associated with upper digestive problems.

How does it work?
Esomeprazole reduces the production of acid in the stomach. Domperidone helps improve movement of the upper digestive tract and may reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. Follow the instructions on the label and do not take more or use it for longer than advised. Do not stop regular treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation and dry mouth may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of heart rhythm problems, fainting, heart disease, liver disease, stomach or intestinal bleeding, or electrolyte imbalance. Inform the doctor about all medicines being taken, especially medicines that affect heart rhythm or interact with domperidone or esomeprazole. Seek medical help for fast or irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness or fainting. Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
