What is it used for?
This combination is used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux, including reflux-related indigestion, bloating or stomach discomfort.

How does it work?
Esomeprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. Itopride helps improve stomach movement and emptying, which may reduce fullness, bloating and indigestion.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the sustained-release tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed timing in relation to meals.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation or dizziness may occur.

Precautions
Do not use it if allergic to any of its ingredients. Tell the doctor about other medicines, especially clopidogrel or blood thinners. Seek medical advice for black stools, vomiting blood, difficulty swallowing, persistent vomiting or unexplained weight loss. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for prolonged treatment.
