What is it used for?
Used to treat acidity, acid reflux and heartburn, especially when these symptoms are associated with indigestion, nausea or slow stomach emptying.

How does it work?
Esomeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Levosulpride helps improve movement of the upper digestive tract and supports stomach emptying.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the sustained-release capsule/tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed timing in relation to meals.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation, dizziness or drowsiness. Levosulpride may rarely cause restlessness, tremors or breast-related hormonal changes.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about kidney or liver disease, heart rhythm problems, seizure disorders, movement disorders, intestinal blockage or gastrointestinal bleeding. Inform the doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding, or if taking medicines that affect heart rhythm, brain function or hormone levels. Seek medical advice for persistent vomiting, black stools, vomiting blood, difficulty swallowing or unexplained weight loss.
