Esomtech 40 (10 Ml) Esomeprazole 40 Mg By Protech

What is it used for?
Esomeprazole is used to reduce excess stomach acid and treat acidity, heartburn, acid reflux (GERD) and related irritation of the food pipe. It may also be used for certain stomach ulcers and other acid-related conditions when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks the release of acid in the stomach. This helps relieve acid-related symptoms and allows irritation or ulcers to heal.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, usually before food. Swallow the capsule or tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation and gas.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about allergies and all other medicines being taken, especially clopidogrel, warfarin, digoxin or medicines for HIV. Seek medical advice for difficulty swallowing, vomiting blood, black stools, unexplained weight loss, persistent vomiting or symptoms that do not improve. Long-term use should be taken only under medical supervision.
