What is it used for?
Ethamsylate is used to help reduce excessive bleeding, including heavy menstrual bleeding and bleeding from small blood vessels. It may also be used around surgery when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
It helps strengthen small blood vessels and improves the sticking of platelets, which supports the formation of a blood clot and helps reduce bleeding.

How to take/use it

Common side effects

Precautions
