Etamsylate IP 250 mg,Tranexamic Acid IP 250 mg,Excipients: q.s.

Description:
Ethamkem-T Tablet is a hemostatic combination used to control and prevent abnormal or excessive bleeding.

Etamsylate promotes platelet adhesion and capillary stability, enhancing hemostasis without affecting normal coagulation time.

Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic agent that inhibits the activation of plasminogen to plasmin, thereby preventing fibrin degradation and stabilizing blood clots.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only.

Use with caution in patients with renal impairment, history of thrombosis, or disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC).

Avoid concomitant use with other antifibrinolytic or hemostatic agents unless prescribed.

Monitor for signs of thrombosis or visual disturbances during prolonged therapy.

Not recommended in pregnant or lactating women unless clearly indicated.

Discontinue immediately if visual symptoms or allergic reactions occur.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, headache.

Occasional: Dizziness, fatigue, mild hypotension.

Rare: Thromboembolic events, allergic rash, or visual disturbances (with prolonged use).

Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.

Keep tablets in the original blister pack until use.

Keep out of reach of children.
