What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain and inflammation, especially pain related to joints, muscles and other musculoskeletal conditions.

How does it work?
Etoricoxib reduces the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever through a different action.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor, with or without food. Do not take additional paracetamol-containing medicines or other anti-inflammatory painkillers unless advised by a doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed amount.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach discomfort, nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, swelling of the feet or legs, and increased blood pressure.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about heart disease, previous heart attack or stroke, high blood pressure, stomach ulcers, kidney or liver problems, or asthma triggered by painkillers. Avoid use during pregnancy unless specifically advised. Avoid excessive alcohol and check with a doctor before use with blood thinners, blood-pressure medicines or other painkillers. Seek urgent medical help for chest pain, breathing difficulty, black stools, severe allergic reactions, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
