Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:

Ferrous Ascorbate – 100 mg,Folic Acid IP – 1.5 mg

Description:
Ferrogen-XT Tablet is an iron and folate supplement used in the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia and megaloblastic anemia.

It is particularly beneficial for pregnant and lactating women, adolescents, and individuals with iron-deficient diets.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use with caution in patients with iron overload disorders such as hemochromatosis or hemosiderosis.

May cause dark stools—this is harmless.

Avoid taking with milk, tea, or antacids as they may reduce iron absorption.

Use only under medical supervision during pregnancy.

Keep out of reach of children—accidental overdose of iron can be fatal.

Adverse Effects:
Nausea, constipation, abdominal discomfort, metallic taste, and black stools.

Storage:
Store below 25°C, in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture.
Keep tablets in the original blister pack until use.
