Composition:
Each tablet contains Montelukast 10 mg + Fexofenadine 120 mg as active ingredients.
Uses:
Used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itchy nose or throat, and itchy or watery eyes. It may also help relieve allergy-related nasal symptoms associated with seasonal or environmental allergies.
How to Use:
Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Avoid taking it with apple, orange, or grapefruit juice, as fruit juices may reduce the absorption of fexofenadine. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Precautions & Warnings:
Do not use if you are allergic to montelukast, fexofenadine, or any of the ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems or are taking other medicines. Aluminium- or magnesium-containing antacids should be taken several hours apart from fexofenadine. Montelukast may rarely cause changes in mood or behaviour; contact your doctor promptly if you experience unusual agitation, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, or suicidal thoughts.
Possible Side Effects:
Possible side effects include headache, nausea, dizziness, tiredness, stomach discomfort, and dry mouth. Rarely, montelukast may cause mood or behavioural changes. Seek immediate medical attention for difficulty breathing, facial or throat swelling, or other signs of a severe allergic reaction.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if prescribed by a doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Storage:
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
Important Safety Information:
This medicine is intended to control allergy symptoms and is not a substitute for emergency treatment of a sudden, severe allergic reaction or asthma attack. Take it only as directed by your healthcare professional. Although fexofenadine is generally considered non-drowsy, dizziness or tiredness may occur; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
