Flaveder Mr 35 Tabs (20X10) Trimetazidine 35Mg Mr Tab by Elder

What is it used for?
Trimetazidine is used with other medicines to help prevent symptoms of stable angina, such as chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. It is not intended to treat a sudden angina attack.

How does it work?
It helps heart cells use energy more efficiently when the blood supply is reduced, which may improve the heart’s ability to cope with low oxygen.

How to take/use it
Take this modified-release tablet exactly as prescribed, usually with food. Swallow it whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Dizziness, headache, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, indigestion and weakness may occur.

Precautions
Do not use it to relieve sudden chest pain; seek urgent medical help for an angina attack. Tell the doctor about kidney problems, Parkinson’s disease, tremors or movement disorders, especially if older. Report new or worsening shaking, stiffness, slowed movement or unsteady walking. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
