What is it used for?
Used topically to moisturise and soften dry, rough or scaly skin. It may also help improve thickened skin conditions, such as rough bumps, when recommended by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Lactic acid helps attract moisture into the skin and gently removes excess dead skin cells, making the skin softer and smoother.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin as directed by the product label or healthcare professional. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and broken or irritated skin. Wash hands after use unless the hands are being treated.

Common side effects
Mild stinging, burning, redness, itching or irritation may occur, especially on sensitive or damaged skin.
