What is it used for?
Frusemide injection is used to remove excess fluid from the body, such as swelling caused by heart, kidney or liver problems. It may also be used in emergencies, such as fluid build-up in the lungs, under medical supervision.

How does it work?
It helps the kidneys remove extra salt and water from the body, increasing urine production and reducing fluid build-up.

How to take/use it

Common side effects
Increased urination, dizziness, low blood pressure, dehydration, weakness, nausea and changes in body salts such as potassium or sodium.
